Are you interested in assisting visitors and parishioners that require help at Mass?
Being an usher is an opportunity to be an ambassador for Jesus at your parish! At St. Patrick’s, ushers welcome parishioners to Mass and assist with seating at the weekend Masses. They also assist with the collection and direct mass-goers to the appropriate communion lines. Ushers are also available to provide assistance for those who may need extra help. Along with those who are involved in hospitality, the ushers are often the first ones that people see when they arrive at church and the last ones they see when they leave.
St. Patrick’s Ushers serve at the 4:30pm Mass of Anticipation on Saturday evenings and the 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 5:00 pm Masses on Sunday. If you’re interested in helping to ensure that the congregation is able to enter and exit the Mass, in an orderly fashion, connect with the head usher at the Mass at which you wish to serve:
Help ensure that visitors, those with special needs and the elderly are shown the proper care at Mass. Be an ambassador for Jesus by becoming an usher at St. Patrick’s Parish!
