Youth Ministry
Are you a youth that is looking to connect with other Catholic young people?
Living the Catholic faith in the modern culture is a difficult task for young Catholics. It is even more difficult when one attempts to do it on their own. St. Patrick’s therefore recognizes the importance of providing pre-teens and teens the support they need. The Parish Youth Ministry brings young people together for prayer, games, discussion that help them bond in friendship, while drawing them closer to Jesus.
At St. Patrick’s, youth ministry is divided into a Junior and Senior group. The Junior group is composed of pre-teens (grade 5, 6 and 7) while the Senior group is made up solely of teens (high school students). The Junior Youth Group meets in Shamrock Hall on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Senior Youth Group meets in Shamrock Hall on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Meetings are conducted in an informal tone, that is conducive to developing friendships, and they include a mix of faith formation lessons, games and often food.
