Catholic Women’s League

Are you a woman who is looking to make a difference in your parish and community?

The CWL is a sisterhood and national organization rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness through services to the people of God. Its core purpose is to unite Catholic women to grow in faith, and to promote social justice through service to the church, Canada and the world. CWL members contribute to the life and vitality of the church, family and community, both at home and abroad.  They also support the efforts of lead members across Canada who diligently work to promote the teachings of the Catholic church.  Our motto “for God and Canada” guides us in our cause.

It also supports the working of the parish and its other ministries through fundraising initiatives.  It continues the crucial work that the former Ladies Auxiliary and Altar Society had played in parish life since the 1930s.

Monthly meetings are on the first Sunday of the month at 12:30pm in the St. Vincent de Paul Café at St. Patrick’s Parish.

Grow in faith and witness to the love of God through ministry and service, while promoting peace and harmony, religious freedom and social justice.

We look forward to meeting you!
