Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Are you interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Faith?

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a program of classes for people interested in the Catholic faith, whether they are non-Catholics thinking about becoming Catholic, or adult Catholics who need to complete their sacraments of Initiation. The program starts with a period of instruction and progresses into a more in-depth experience of Catholicism which invites participants into the process of initiation. Often this will include receiving the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, for those not yet baptized, Confession, Holy Communion, and Confirmation for those previously & validly baptized by another Christian denomination

St. Patrick’s Parish hosts weekly RCIA classes on Thursday nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the St. John Paul II Boardroom, located at the church. The schedule of classes normally begins in the fall and concludes in May, with the sacraments of initiation taking place at the Easter Vigil
