Parish Religious Education Program
Are you seeking to pass the Catholic faith onto your children who attend a public or non-Catholic independent schools?
In the current culture, handing on the Faith to your children can seem like an insurmountable task but help is available! The St. Patrick’s Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) provides a faith community, moral instruction and formation that will help your children cultivate a relationship with Jesus. Classes take place on Wednesday nights (except on public holidays and Holy Days of Obligation) from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm and are available for children from grade one to high school. Grades 1 and 2 use the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), a classroom instruction program based on Montessori methodology. The St. Patrick’s PREP program conforms to the standards of Archdiocese of Vancouver’s Safe Environment Policy and all teachers and volunteers have undergone criminal record checks.
If your children are not attending a Catholic school, ensure that you give them the support they need to know, love and serve God. Prepare your children for their faith journey by contacting the St. Patrick’s PREP Coordinator and enrolling them for PREP classes.
